Description http://www.backpackcamp.com/Harrison.html  The plan: Friday night (10/16): I'm going to get there pretty late (after dark most likely) and hike to Ohio River Overlook Shelter. We'll most likely park at the TH in the Cold Friday Hollow. no. 9 to no. 10 on the map. (~2mi) Saturday (10/17): We're actually going to hike along the Ohio R. instead of the top of the ridge. Hike past Homestead Shelter all the way to Indian Cr. Shelter where we'll stay that night. no. 10 to no. 7 on the map. (~8mi) Sunday (10/18): Not exactly sure how we'll return to the car but it will mostly be bushwhacking. Either down the hollow or possibly along the ridge North of the hollow. no. 7 to no. 9 on the map. (2-3-4-?mi) Forecast: Louisville, KY The weather is looking rather cold. highs of 50-55F; lows @ freezing. brr. The first night's shelter is rather exposed to the wind. Prepare accordingly. We may get lucky with sunny skies too. Water should not be an issue as the region has had quite a bit of rain recently. --------------------------------- This is what we actually hiked:
