trips - Sierra Nevada High CountryTrip Info
DescriptionMe and a guy from Texas are going to see what the Sierra Nevada are all about. Entering & exiting at Cottonwood Lakes trailhead. Whitney is out due to quotas. You'll need to get your own permit - walk-in permits should be available. The evolving plan is for mostly low-milage days to maximize time for enjoying the scenery and side trips. Probably some tough high passes involved. Hopefully get to see Mitre Basin and Crabtree Lakes. A chance for a 14er - Mt. Langley. E-mail me if interested... toejam
