Description

Start Friday and camp on Springs Trail.

Saturday, backtrack on A.T. North toward Wise Shelter and the Scales. From there take Pine Mountain Trail to Rhodo Gap area.

I hear there isn't much water at Thomas Knob Shelter right now, so we'll need to find another camping spot for Saturday night.

Sunday hike back to Grayson Highlands and our cars. I'd be interested in taking the Crest Trail to the VA Highlands Horse Trail back to the parking lot area....but if others are set on the A.T. and Wilburn Ridge, whatever. I'm flexible...and will have to be b/c of water.

* If anyone has any info on water up there, (like where it is and where its not) please let us know!
