Description

We'll be hiking the Two Lakes Loop Trail in the Indian & Celina Lakes Recreation Area of the Hoosier National Forest. Bring your swim suit and/or fishing pole because it is possible we'll do more lounging than hiking. Nothing fancy but a rockin' good time. [it's my first trip out since winter!]

Mileage estimates range from 12 miles to 15.7, so who knows...you know how reliable those are anyway.

Nitty Gritty Details:

Meet at 2 pm on Saturday, July 5 at the pull off before the gatehouse.

Directions to recreation area:

Take I-64 to IN 37 South (exit 79) and go about 2 miles to the pull off at entrance of the recreation area.

Permits are not required but a $5 parking fee applies if you park inside the recreation area. We're going to try to park outside and hike in but that may change 'cuz I know all you fun TTers will flock by the kazillions since this is the first trip I'm planning. (ha ha)

Disclaimer: No one on this trip has ever been to this area so it may be an adventure, but it is after all, a figure 8 loop on a holiday weekend, how lost can we get?
