We'll show up to a medium-grade bowl and probably not be ready to play. My favorite comments this weekend were when the pundits at ESPN talked about Florida lacking a "killer instinct" this year. They criticized the gators for not being able to finish teams off while they have them down. They used as an example how the GATORS let Arkansas back into the game after having them down 31-7. So now they’re faulting the gators for NOT running up the score? If it gets any stupider, I may just have to accept the fact that the average sport’s fan has the IQ of a rock. I know, I know, I should have accepted that fact years ago. Bring Spurrier back! I can better accept the stupidity of complaining that we run up the score. Good lord, you people are comparing the beauty of different campuses? Well Florida has the most beautiful campus I’ve ever been to, but that’s beside the point. Apparently Zook was pretty upset that his players get sanctioned and/or charged for almost everything they get involved with, but he feels that the frat-boys often get away with bad behavior without getting into trouble. It appears as if the only folks who actually did anything worth criminal charges were the frat-boys. It’ll be interesting for us to see how it plays out. I can’t imagine how anyone anywhere but Gainesville would find this interesting. Must be a slow year.
