Well Lizs, we played the Hawkeyes today (with one hand tied behind our back.... no offense), and beat you, again, for like the 100th time in a row, when you were ranked.

"That game should defnitely have been played enroute to any big bowl bid."

Well, this year it has been played, so I don't ever expect to hear any Hawkeye fans front my boys until you beat us, if that's even possible.

"I don't know what the line was on that game today. Did Ohio State cover it? Too bad bowl game reps don't take away points for barely there wins over so-so teams...."

Jeez, Iowa's offensive jauggernaut was awsome today! It's amazing the numbers they out up against a real defense!

Lobos 30, Aztecs 7. San Diego State passed the ball up and down the field the first half, but the Lobos frustrate them in the Red Zone. The Lobos defense was awesome in the second half, coming up with 5 interceptions, several sacks and a blocked punt in the game. The offensive line got rolling in the second and bullied the Aztecs into submission.

Next week away at Utah, then three home conference games including Colorado State, Air Force and UNLV.”

Ohhhh cum on strat! Bogus call? That was a vicious hit when viewed from the sideline camera. Arkansas was flagged THREE times for late hits on Chris Leak. And all THREE of them were TO THE HEAD. Once again, Arkansas proved to be its own worst enemy at crunch time. You can’t hardly blame Bua for being fired up, but that was even more stupid than Keiwan Ratliff tossing the ball into the stands, and drawing a 15 yard celebration penalty, after his interception return. Arkansas was hitting Leak late all day, so the refs were looking for it. There was no reason for Bua to even touch Leak on that play.

That was one intense finish. I don't blame you for being upset, strat, but don't go getting all Democrat on me here. Suck it up, admit your team made the mistake, and stop trying to place the blame on others.

Day, I'm torn between rooting for you or chili. We really need you to salvage some pride, and beat the Vols this year. But if Florida can't beat Jawja, it won't matter anyway. Exactly when do Tennessee and Bama play?”

Jayhawks are going to have a big test against Kansas State. The Mildcats aren't that scary when thought of in a national perspective, but they will want to thump KU real bad on their home turf. I think the Jayhawks can score on them, I just don't know if they can stop them.

What I did learn was that Gale Sayers played college ball at some little po-dunk school out in the mid-west. I forget the name of the school but it sounded like an awful place to be from.
