Well hyway, considering the Bucks almost lost to San Diego State the week before, it appears it is an inferior OSU team rather than a more dominant Wolfpack. IMHO this wasn't much of a test for the Wolfpack.

Michiagan would hand the Wolfpack their hats.

9/14/03

Nigal, you are probably right. But we were playing without our top OL man (who will be playing on Sundays if we can figure out whats wrong with his nerves in his shoulders and hands), our RB, who in my opinion is better than Clarett, has a banged up knee that kept him out of practices, none of our D-lineman started a game last year (they're young and show it, but by the end of the season they will be the best d-line we have ever had), and we have this bad habit of spotting the other team 17 points before we decide to start playing.

2scoops, did you pick ND to root for simply because they were winners, but now that they aren't they aren't worthy of your support? If you tell me you actually attended ND I will be severely shocked. I thought their alums were made of tougher stuff.

ok people...let me splain somethin toya.......

ARKANSAS ....knows football .....TEXAS ....wishes they knew football, even tough they were ranked #5 and playing at home where they had a 28 game winning streak....

we're talkin total domination here. absolute spanking.

the hogs are for real this time.

man i love football!

north texas comes to war memorial stadium this week.......i like our chances...heh heh.

Hyway, I think you might have misunderstood my original post. When I spoke of not being able to wait until the end of November and I wished we could play them next week I was speaking of the Bucks. Not the Wolfpack.

ahem.....nigal....focus man, stay on task here....the subject has now shifted to how much the razorbacks rule all matter.

what is your opinion....do you think the

A)the hogs rule the entire universe at the current time?

or

B) the the hogs have always ruled the entire universe, including the present time?

We spanked both Texas (at Texas)and ND (Gator Bowl) the last time we played them.

2scoops, my apologies man. I think I am reacting to the freakin losers who climbed on the Wolfpack's bandwagon in the offseason when we were getting all the media hype and now are pissin and moaning because they have to eat crow from all the smack they have been talking. My Wolfpack boards are littered with their whining and I just want to reach through the screen and throttle them.

So, once again. My apologies for attacking you, but it isn't "just football" ;)

Well, despite my Arkansas residency, I still don't have this sooee pig thing down yet. And don't expect me to be buying a pig hat any time soon.

However, I will report that I am pleased they put a thumping on Texas and hereby promise not to cheer against the Hogs in the future (unless, of course, they are playing UT and then you can expect me to say nasty things about them).

Memphis did just as expected and lost to a dismal Southern Miss team. The universe is in balance again,,,,Tiger footbal has returned to normal.

Well that was just ugly. ND didn't have an offensive or defensive game plan to hang with Michigan. We were just plain out coached and the team came out flat for about the 7th game in a row.

Unfortunately for ND, Michigan is not as good as they looked on Saturday (sorry Nigal), their QB is average at best and their defense could've been picked apart by a competent quarterback. Fortunately for UM, everyone in the stadium could guess what ND was going to run on every play.

I will say that Perry surprised me. I thought ND's defense was going to stuff him--but he really kicked our butts.

Ah well, I'll be rooting for UM against the rest of the big ten, especially the bucks.

Hyway--talk about being out-coached...that knucklehead for NC State definitely cost you guys the game. When you have an incredibly hot QB going into OT, why in the hell to you run two QB sneaks in a row from the 4 yard line?

oh yeah, I will NEVER stop rooting for ND. Even if they suck.

Huh, bongo?? "Outcoached"?!! I thought ND snatched TW away from us because he was such a great coach. WTF???!!!

I guess even great coaches have bad streaks.

I think the real problem is that Ty is a couple years from having "his" guys in the key positions. He, and his co-ordinators, aren't modifying their coaching to the talent they currently have.

If he lasts long enough, and I hope he does, to get his guys on the field, Ty will probably be a great coach at ND for many years to come.

"their QB is average at best"

Bongo you freak! 8) Navarre’s numbers speak for themselves. His last season stats are:

**threw a career-best 19 touchdown passes
**completed 53.8 percent of his passes (207-of-385),
**threw for 2,435 yards
**set the Michigan school record for season passing attempts (385),
**and yet maintains a listing of third in completions (207),
**fourth in touchdowns (19) and sixth in yardage (2,435) ...
**tossed for over 200 yards passing in eight of the 12 games and threw a touchdown pass in 11 of the 12 contests ...

He was the #1 leading QB in the whole Big 10.

I await your humble apology…

P.S. Now NC State knows why we fired Noel Mazzone. Nice F-N call Jack-A.

I am sad to sad that the leading speculation around Wolfpack land is that our Heisman candidate QB audibled those two QB sneaks. To be fair, he is a big guy and has scored many times on that play .... just not from the freaking 4 yd line.

One thing I am proud of is that after the game our Coach didn't try to place blame on anyone. He let it all fall on his shoulders.

Notre Dame needs a new QB. I have to believe that they have someone waiting in the wings. They took an azz whuppin' and no doubt about it. It's hard to watch an under-inspired team hoping that the game will end while the other team is running rough-shod over them. Anyway, I'm with the bongo, and will remain loyal to the Fighting Irish through thick and thin.
Congratulations on the win, Cocoa. If Auburn is smart, they will learn some lessons real quick and still be a force in the SEC. I still would not take them lightly.
The Big 12 took some tough hits this Saturday. Congrats to the Hogs. I knew they were good last year, and bring a lot more fight to the game than some teams expect. Texas has more talent. The Razorbacks just put a hurt on them.
When is Colorado going to show up for their game? I'm guessing that Wash St is for real this year, but that is no excuse for the Buffs to lose at home at their altitude. Maybe Kansas will give them a good game this year???

This is how we do things here in Ohio.

**A football player gets up and walks out of a final exam…they let him take an oral exam so he can still play in the championship game.

**The same football player has thousands of dollars in cash and electronic equipment stolen from his $25,000 car and then lies to police about it…the judge that was draw “at random” to hear the case is, are you ready for this? Woody Haye’s phucking son that graduated from Ohio State!

UT and U of F. Current line favors the Gators by a Field Goal.

It should be a barnburner if UT can move the ball on the ground and Clausen doesn't get crazy.

Interesting note,,,,,,the attention of the "big" media will be on UGA/LSU.

College game day will be coming to us from Baton Rouge, not Gainesville.

Oh well, that is the strength of the SEC.

The bottles they have now are just like the cans. They have a little nitro ball in them. It's not bad. I get a six of the bottles every onc e in a while because it is different than the draught cans. Not as creamy but a bit more bite.

What is the beer of choice for ND fans? Mickey's?
