Memphis gets a boost from the Liberty Bowl, but the real bread winner is at the Heritage Classic when Jackson State plays Tennessee State in Memphis.

It's Uncle Dunny time, it's Uncle Dunny time, Bob Smith and Dunadan say howdy do to you!
(Hey, it's a rip-off of Howdy Doody, but none of the youngsters on this site are going to know.)

Yes, folks, here we go once again! Your old Uncle Dunadan who, by the way, has one of the worst teams in the USA, will pick the winners of this weeks football games with uncanny accuracy.

Let's start with the Luckeyes. They play the Fighting Illini, who are better than the Boilermakers. No sweat! Ohio State will barely beat them, also!

Texas Tech could upset Texas..............in a parallel universe! Horns win.

Iowa keeps the Gophers digging their graves.

OK, Cocoa, this one's for you. Auburn burns the Dawgs by 6! You heard it here, first. If, for some strange reason, the Tigers lose, Cocoa will carry canned goods for Dunadan on the next hike.

Tide and some other Tiger team. Hmmmmm.....Uncle Dunny finds this one very interesting. It's at the Valley of Death. LSU could make a good season out of this one. Hmmmm...... Time's up! Dunadan says that Alabama will win.

Kansas State has the Huskers at home. They had better not blow it, because this is the best chance to beat the Corns in a long time. K-State wins by 10.

Oregon beats the Huskies.
Gators win.
USC wins.
Penn State.....Did you see the effigy of a referee hung on Joe Paterno's front door? No one is saying who put it there. Nittany Lions win this week.
Colorado waits to lose a couple of early season games before they get serious every year. They are serious now, and at home. Buffs beat Cyclones.

Until next week boys and girls! Remember to wash your Nalgene bottles!

Oh, yes. Kansas 13, Oklahoma State 27.
Interesting note. Zach Dyer was the starting QB for the first half of the first game. Then Bill Whitemore (fomer Mr. Football from Tennessee) took over and is a solid QB. Well, the dirty cheating Tigers of Misery injured him, so Zach Dyer is going to start the last game of the season. Where has Zach been in between the first and last game? He is the leading tackler for KU's defense. This is the inner workings of a team that is strapped for talent.

I still smell a "Luckeye" loss yet this REGULAR SEASON. And I hang out with a wizard (or is he a sourcerer??)... so you can bank on it. ;-)

Dunadan, you remind me more of Clarabell than Howdy. Who played Cowboy Bob? The Twelve Stooges are goin’ dowwwwn. No Chumpionship for that league of corn pones.

The tiny 10 has 3 big bad teams in the top 10. Oooooooh they must have some strong teams this year……NOT!

Now for the losers of the week:

Bama covers 2
Arizona State getting 15
Auburn getting 2.5 (good Lord a’mighty, puhleeeeze GO AUBURN)
Tennessee covers 7
Georgia Tech covers 16
Purdue covers 3.5
San Diego State getting 12.5
Maryland covers 4
Iowa covers 10

That should be enough to keep me crying after I read the game results on Sunday. Ta-ta.

Chili, looks like your guys will win easily. Cocoa's Auburn boys are playing well but we need them to lose. Dunadan, what can I say. KU will get run over by the big red corn wagon but I'll be cheering for the Jayhawks. I actually own a Jayhawk t-shirt. I'll wear it today in your honor.

Lobos Buck History, Cougars With 20-16 Victory
Boyd Sparks Offense With 156 All-Purpose Yards

UNM's defense held BYU to just 188 yards of offense
Saturday, November 16 2002

PROVO, Utah -- The University of New Mexico turned back the clock on Saturday night as a dominating defense and ball-control offense combined to give the Lobos a 20-16 victory over Brigham Young University at LaVell Edwards Stadium. New Mexico snapped a 14-game losing streak at BYU, winning its first game in Provo since current head coach Rocky Long quarterbacked the Lobos to a 14-0 win in 1971.

Well Uncle Dunny, you need to say something about this one!!!! Go Tigers. To go down there and beat A&M is really STRONG. Did you know that our freshman QB has thrown for over 2000 yards and only needs one more yard to go over 1000 for the season? Do you know how many times that has been done in the NCAA? Miss. St. IS that bad, chili. So is S. Carolina. Both Tennessee and Florida finally played well against lousy opponents.

Congratulations Tilt! That was such an exciting game between Georgia and Auburn. A last minute victory, that means something more, is very sweet. Savor the win and represent the conference well.

SEC East Champions 13, FLORIDA GATORS 20!

Dunadan, Miami seems to have cleaned up its act under Coker. I remember when those fools got off the airplane in fatigues the year they played Penn St. for the mythical chumpionship. They even walked out of the pre-game dinner the night before the game. Boy was I glad when Penn. St. spanked 'em.

Speaking of losers: Texas, what a pretender. Well, there’s always basketball season. The twelve stooges have lots of highly ranked teams in the preseason basketball rankings… Oh wait, #4 Texas almost lost to #17 Georgia and #3 Oklahoma already lost to #8 Alabama. My bad. I guess it’ll be another WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR kind of season for those Midwest thugs. Just warmin’ up, bayyyybeeee.

Now you must wake up, all dreams must end
Take off your makeup, the party's over
