You're a class act Dayhiker. It's too bad you went against those instincts this past week when you tried to insult God's team and incurred HIS mighty wrath. Your final judgment awaiteth this weekend. Prepare to prostrate thyself!

Notice how the VOLS game wasn't on TV? That's because the networks figured if you want to see Tennessee players just look on America's Most Wanted!

So, Nigal, what you're saying is that you love ND?

Oh Lordy! Say it ain't so, XL. Sometimes I just don't pay attention. I can live with slimy Tennessee fans. But you're an evil Jawja fan?

I've got to work hard to ride dayhiker. Look at his posts after every game. The boy's a class act and it's hard to ride a class act...

Hell, homegrown Michigan players suck so bad, they only have 41 out of 106 native Michiganders on thier team. #1 ranked Ohio State, on the other hand, has 77 out of 113 players that played football in the State of Ohio, where our kids don't quit.

I mean, I've read your posts after every game for years. You're a class act and represent Bama well.

...AND YOU'RE SCREWING UP MY WHOLE SHTICK HERE!!!

Now I've just got to wing it. Lemme give it a shot:

Gators graduate on time

"The Florida men's basketball team not only won the national championship, Donovan's program received a 100 percent certification when graduation rate numbers were released Wednesday by the NCAA. The basketball program was one of seven at Florida that received 100 percent marks...

...UF - at 80 percent - was one of five football programs ranked in The Associated Press top 25 that met or exceeded the national average for graduation rates for Division I. In football, it was Notre Dame leading the way at 95 percent. Others in the top 25 were Nebraska at 88 percent, TCU at 78 percent and Clemson at 77...

...Three of the Top 25 football schools had graduation rates below 50 percent. They were Texas (40 percent), Georgia (41) and California (44). No. 1 ranked Ohio State was at 55 percent, and Southern Cal, the 2004 national champion, was at 55 percent."

There’s a lot not to like about Notre Dame, but that’s impressive. There are some very good things about Notre Dame, and I respect them for those graduation numbers.

I always knew that pedxing didn’t know what he was talking about when he touted Texas for good graduation rates. Those folks are pathetic. They should put an asterisk next to their NC with numbers like that.

Jawja, what have you got to say about Jawja now, XL? I’ll have to remove the ground from your ground pounder nickname. You belong in the dawg pound and Jawja deserves to be pounded. I always knew Jawja was no good.

USC doesn’t come as any surprise. Players major in football at USC while their spending money comes from agents and boosters.

And how about those buckeyes? Yeah, the only thing great about that program is that not ALL of their players end up in prison.

…But where are the figures for Tennessee? Those numbers are probably so off-the-chart bad, they didn’t even list them. Everyone (except Tennessee fans) would puke.

XL, ya lost me there.

What the heck are ya mumbling about with that hillbilly Tennessee/Jawja drawl of yours? Put yer teeth back in so I can understand you.

Are ya talkin' about how Tennessee tried to cheat again this year? Well they didn't pay the refs enough money to overcome the fact that FLORIDA is a better team than Tennessee. Every year those sleeze-balls from Tennessee try to buy off the refs. Tennessee is the poster child for disgusting cheaters!

Nevermind. What were you talking about, Mr. XL?

Dayhiker, I expect Bama will bring its A-game this weekend. Florida was favored last year, and we know how badly that worked out for them. I don't have full confidence in this year's team yet. They were tough enough to beat those pansies from Tennessee, but that's not a real test. I think Bama will test their toughness this week. And I'm not betting the spread on that game.

…weak…drained…water…gasp…

I’m emotionally drained. The weather was perfect for sitting outside. HOLY POOP! Now THAT is what a college football game should be like for the home team.

Congratulation to Bama, Dayhiker. A big congratulations to Bama. Give that young quarterback a little more experience and watch out! Who in the holy moly Mary MF decided that Bama shouldn’t be ranked? Are you telling me that Bama couldn’t beat half those teams in the top 25? I don’t believe it. Bama’s got nothing to hang their heads about. They fought until the very end. They made less mistakes than Florida until the end. For most of the game it looked like it was going to come down to which team had the ball last.

We talked with a bunch of Bama fans before and after the game. A good time was had by everyone I saw. After the game, I didn’t see anyone rub it in and the Bama fans were very gracious. Good times!

That stadium erupted when the GATORS scored that touchdown to go ahead 21-13. Then, when Reggie Nelson ran in that interception to seal the game, the stadium exploded, the fans went nuts. It was loud. It was really, really loud.

What an experience. Tension building up, emotion building up, tension building up, emotion building up….EXPLOSION OF ECSTACY…EXPLOSION OF ECSTACY. Man, I feel like I really need to turn over and go to sleep now.

…weak…drained…water…gasp…

Oh and a great win against a very tough opponent. Who the heck is Memphis? Is that one of those on-line correspondence schools? Maybe you’ll play a game that someone wants to watch on TV sometime this year. The only reason you made it to TV so far is that people want to watch Florida.

Complimentary? Take some lessons from Dayhiker. You stink at compliments.

Florida isn't a great team; that's pretty obvious. But, so far, they’re playing with toughness and that’s a start to the Meyer philosophy.

You’ll appreciate this (partial) article, chili:

“Florida inducted the first four members of its Gator Football Ring of Honor before Saturday's game with Alabama.

Inducted but not in attendance was Emmitt Smith, the NFL's all-time leading rusher and current hotstepper on the "Dancing With the Stars" reality show. He delivered a taped message that aired on the JumboTron. Smith also is a member of the Dallas Cowboys' Ring of Honor.

The other three inductees were in attendance: former defensive end Jack Youngblood (the only Gator currently in the NFL Hall of Fame), former coach/Heisman-trophy winning quarterback Steve Spurrier and former Heisman-winning quarterback Danny Wuerffel.

Spurrier, whose South Carolina team was defeated 24-17 by Auburn on Thursday, had perhaps the line of the ceremony when he thanked former coach Ray Graves "for bringing this hillbilly kid from Tennessee here."
