hot or cold?View MessagesRE: hot or cold? “Did ya jump off the cliffs?” 9:37:53 PM 8/24/01 RE: hot or cold? “Last time I was there at Havasu (probably 15 years ago) there was a rope attached to a big tree near the campground. We swung way out on it and dropped into the water. Is it still there? The only thing I have against winter camping is that the nights are so long--I don't like to be cooped up in a tent that long.” 11:55:54 AM 8/26/01 RE: hot or cold? “Get out there and see some stars, comets, meteors and whatnot, *G*. Quite a line-up for the rope. It was like Grand Central Station there! (hint - get up early and you'll have the falls to yourself before the crowds show up around 10am). Still, the falls were beautiful and the water the prettiest blue/green. Was a great trip!” 5:52:23 PM 8/26/01 RE: hot or cold? “Anything except stinking hot. Hot is for paddling trips.” 10:27:56 PM 8/26/01
