Trip coordination
I was planning a 2 week camping trip near Mt. Whitney to do some photography but decided to try to put together the support needed for a hike on the JMT. I live in San Bernardino CA and have up to two weeks for a backpacking trip. I have a truck and was hoping to find someone with a car to coordinate the pick up drop off for the trip. I am game for any section of the JMT that you would like to do so long as Mount Whitney is in the itinerary. I can cover quite a bit in a days backpacking but have no objection to a short scenic section of the trail with plenty of time to explore either. I would also be happy to find any backpackers in my area who would like to help with gas in exchange for a ride to and from the trail. Any takers let me know or I will have to go back to my original plan to do a loop trail (sort of) to and from Whitney Portal.

Next weekend I'm planning to park at Whitney Portal and hitch hike to Onion Valley for a 4-day trip. I'm hoping for sympathetic people on the road. Let you know how it turns out.
