Wife and I both looking for better soles for hiking boots .Lack of stability on steep inclines (30 degrees plus ) with loose gravel . About to the oint of going back to vibram soles .

Any recommendatins ?

Merrell Siren for women. Very grippy on granite and won't slip (too much) on scree.

Yes the Sirens are vibram soled. I love them.

hiking soles
I guess I got away from Vibram soles when I started getting a lighter boot . Time to go back for the traction and stability .

I was sold on Vibram after a trip up Old Rag in Shenandoah. Several large rock scrambles on that route, I've bought Merrell ever since.
