seperating zippers

“Just had another good pack to dump do to zipper seperation with out the pull . ie seperating due to full sack .
What do you folks do about zipper seperation ?”

“I've never really had any issues with separation but I have had problems with broken zipper teeth. Sometimes a safety pin on either side of the problem area will do the trick.”

“There does seem to be some worn or broken zipper teeth . Thanks I'll try the pins.”

“Shanez named it I think. Broken zipper teeth . An aggravation I've had for years. Had a rucksack , Wilderness Experience I think, for years son and I both used it hard and zippers started separating in small pockets as well as top flap .
Just about ready to look for buckles on pockets and top of the sack.”
