“I'm thinking one key to keeping my knees functional is some insoles for my shoes. I notice a difference one the original insole has a few hundred miles on it (especially with light hikers and trail runners). Any thoughts on insoles - which brands. Superfeet (I've used some fairly bulky ones with winter boots and they helped), Spenco, Dr. Scholls? I saw something on RxSorbo also...” 6:56:36 AM 7/05/12 “I have Superfeet in my boots and Spenco in my trail runners. No problems with either one” 8:07:35 AM 7/05/12 “Superfeet have been great for me but I would advise against using them in any shoe with a waterproof liner like gore-tex. I think they offer the same caution in the fine print somewhere.. they can tear the liner.” 8:54:31 AM 7/05/12 Insoles “I have tried them all and found Cadence insoles to be the best for me. They have a great combination of both support and cushion. Very durable and really improved the fit of my boots. I used CADENCE10 code on their website for a 10% discount, I think it's good until the end of the month.” 8:04:07 PM 7/05/12 “Thanks for the replies. It's good to know on Superfeet - I seldom have patience for the fine print. I'll take a look at Cadence. Mostly I am thinking spenco for my light hikers or trail runners - partly because they have a wide version for at least one of their inserts.” 12:33:38 PM 7/06/12 insoles “Your feet and knees will appreciate it! Good luck!” 7:09:59 PM 7/06/12
