"Bath Salts"

“Just before the news story broke about the guy who was eating off the homeless man's face (Police suspected the guy was high on "bath salts") - I heard a guy who'd once lived in my town (and actually talked to me about leaving his truck in my driveway for a stretch) dying because of "bath salts." This has me thinking that the dangers of these drugs may not be over-hyped. Any opinions or info.

“KY banned the sale of them about a year ago. I listened to an interesting piece on the BBC where one of the editors of Vice took it to see what the hype was about. He was adamant about the danger of this stuff saying he had suicidal thoughts for 6 months after only taking it that one time. Before it was banned it seemed a day did not pass that someone on this stuff made the news.”

When I first heard about them, I'd assumed that ppl were just starting to snort or shoot actual bath salts from Bed Bath and Beyond or somewhere.”
