Full Moon Hike ideas

“When I lived in Colorado hiking during the night of a full moon was common. Now that Im living in North Carolina it's hard to find trails, in my area, (Boone) that are out in the open enough to enjoy La Luna. Any suggestions? Grayson Highlands perhaps.”

“GH might work for a full moon hike - one issue however is the rocky trails - not sure if I would feel comfortable hiking without a light just due to the rocks - I could do it but I would be relying on my poles a lot”

“Thank you Moonshine, quite a few to look into. So far Roan Mountain is speaking to me. Anyone care to join me? I only have Monday and Tuesday off. If I had more time I would head to the outer banks.”
