Navi, Matt, Phil, Hodge, Pantscandy, Poolguy, Wingding, Wannabp and Jerry.

BTW, is anyone up for a hike from Long Lake to Lake Placid on the Northville-Placid Trail? Some time in June or July.

I'll take the shuttle from Placid trailhead after spending the night at the Alpine Club of Canada house in Keene, NY to Long Lake trailhead. If someone wants to meet me in Long Lake I'll drive you back to your car.”

2. I'm sure TxWoodswoman is you're real name (or is it Ms. Hypocrite?). If so, your either a loser for changing your name, or your parents are losers for picking it.

4. Again, I didn't start this rant just to sh*t on everyone's little gab fest here, I honestly check in now and then to see if any trips in my area have been posted. Sure there are private trips, and sure peeps are meeting up through FB, Myspace, Meetups.com, but the last time I looked this site was called TheBackpacker.

As far as comments on why private trips are not an option for all, that's also a load. In reality, there are cliques here just like in high school: you get invited to the party if you're cool! That's it in it's pathetic reality.”
