Hoosiers I am hiking the Low Gap Sat Nig ht

“I am hiking and camping in the pines on Sat. Night parking at Low Gap Trail Head on the Forest Main Road I plan to be there after I attend an event on Sat. Afternoon around 3:30-4:00 pm.

I also plan on getting up early and hiking out to get to another event on Sunday.”

“Attila I am going to hike the whole loop it might be 5 or 6 before I get to camp. Depending on far you wanted to hike you could park at the Backcountry Parking Spot on Low Gap Road and hike in. If you didn't want to climb the big hill from the parking spot you can follow the creek from the parking spot it will take you to the pines.”

“Kevin, do you know what the water situation is at Low Gap? I was down there about this time last year and ALL the creeks were bone dry . . . even the one at the backpackers parking lot.”

“Gforce I was at the Deam this weekend they were bonedry there I am betting they will be on the Low Gap too. I am going to spot a couple gallons one where you cross at I think cherry road and then one down at Low Gap parking lot.

Just trying to get a few miles in hopes of the Adventure Trail with Salem later in the next month.

I am also looking to be the first to get the new Scout tent that Six Moons has now. I ordered it tonight $125 for the heavy 35 ounce tent. I will let everyone how I like it after a few trips. It looks roomy I will not have it this weekend maybe the first of the week.

If you want to go lighter he does have a 25 ounce @ $225, $10 an ounce is that the going rate to lighter?
