PCT Trail Angel

“my daughter ErinAnne signed up online to be a trail angel for the PCT. she'll pick up at walker pass and transport to isabella. anyone doing the pct this year? she can do it any day until camp begins and after that only on saturdays.”

“Thats really altruistic of your daughter Diz. Not being a alarmist , but do the potential passengers have anyway to be identified, before being picked up? Do they register and book the transportation?”

“Did she sign up on the PCT website? How does one become a TA? More importantly, how does someone find out who to contact when they need a ride? Is her contact information posted somewhere?

I know...lots of questions. Just curious. I think it is great that she is doing this. It's better than someone sticking their thumb out and hoping for the best.”

“i'm not sure why i didn't get back to this. yes, she did sign up on a pct trail website, i'm not sure which one. her contacts are made months in advance. so far they are two couples.”
