“I'm gonna be in Chicago! Taking a long weekend type vacation trip with my kids (16 & 18) we're going to be in town for a few days starting the 18th.

Wounded Knee and Dhutch I've already talked with and WK is planning to drink most of the alcohol in Chicago the evening of the 19th.

Who can join us - all are welcome (regardless of political persuasion)

“Still working on that info for you Jer. Came across a 68 acre property with a creek ponds bluffs, even a crystal cave. More towards Stratd00ds area. about an hour from Fayetteville. Awesome area and right on a major Hwy.

Any areas to avoid?

I can stay in St. Charles/Geneva, Napierville, Carol Stream. Which are nicer, and which are easier to get into downtown.

Can i take Hwy 64 - North Ave into downtown easily?”

“Naperville is probably best. 88 to 290 in to Chicago. Rte 64 is a bind with lights every 1/2 mile.”

“I would stay in St. Charles or Geneva. Lots of nice restaurants/bars in their downtown areas (especially St. Charles). You can take the Metra from Geneva into Chicago.”
