I realized at that time that our feud was making it unpleasant for others and decided it was time to call it off.

I ignored him for several years but he has a hard-on for me and won't let up.

I've asked the moderators to prevent the daily harassment but some of them think its a hoot or that I deserve it for some reason. One in particular joins in when he can in a passive aggressive manner.

I'd just like to be free to post on this site without Stovie trying his best to piss me off every other second.

I only pop in occasionally because this is the oldest forum that I have followed on the Internet. I was here back before there were user accounts (surely I can't be the only one). Now I am just watching to see if it wakes up from its coma or dies in its sleep.”

“The problem with TT is that a very few people who had never hiked with anyone on this board became both proliferate and contrary posters. This place could survive when people that were #&%!$s to each other on the board had a chance of having to face someone personally they insulted or a friend of someone they insulted. The insults had less bite back then. Now they get so personal most people can't look past them when they meet up with each other. So the "private" trips started up. Not that they were wrong to do it, but the trips page got very thin. And those not invited usually heard about them anyway and got even more pissy.”
