Waterfalls of Rock Run GorgeView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 1 of 1 messages posted.
“The McIntyre Wild Area and Rock Run Gorge are located near Ralston, north of Williamsport. It is one of the most beautiful places in PA with chasms, waterfalls, and incredible swimming holes. I also explored Hounds Run, which has an impressive falls. Miners Run is incredible with huge boulders and many more falls. While driving, I saw a rattlesnake, one of the largest I've ever seen. It was a one lane dirt road, and it stretched over half way across. It wouldn't move. I tried honking my horn, but that did nothing. So I carefully drove around it. I saw deer, grouse, woodhens, and even these grey quails. Lots of butterflies. Enjoy the pics. http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/577892436VJgQLH?vhost=outdoors” 3:10:03 PM 6/07/10
