Virginia Creeper Trail

“thinking about going for a long day-ride before or after trail days. whats better, the eastern half, or the western half?”

“I'm bringing a couple bikes for Pug and I. We're going to ride part of it, I hear it's all downhill if you start at the right place, 40 miles.”

“Are you bringing your camper Dub?”

“what does dub bringing his camper have to do with the VCT?”

“LOL@CB. No Stomper, too much in gas to drive it 8 hours for a weekend.”

“besides, backpacker magazine might be there, and they'll probably remember all the times he made fun of them. wouldnt he have egg on his face if he showed up in his 50-foot monstrosity?”

“Agreed, it's all beautiful! You can get a shuttle from Damacus and ride 18 miles downhill...but that's no fun!”

“You can get a ride to the eastern uphill end of the VCT from www.blueblazebikeandshuttle.com and coast back 17 miles to Damascus. There is a store/diner about half way at Taylor, VA. Good trip. Very easy.”
