However, some studies have suggested that the ability of oceans and plants to absorb carbon dioxide recently may have begun to decline and that the airborne fraction of anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions is therefore beginning to increase.

In contradiction to some recent studies, he finds that the airborne fraction of carbon dioxide has not increased either during the past 150 years or during the most recent five decades.

So, this guy knows no more than all the rest and will have to use direct heat and chemical pollution to blame on human beings where there is little mystery and faith to be relied on.

Historic science as idoes history its self always gathers way to much fiction along the road of time.

That was purdy cool HPD. I tell ya tho, that carbon credit scheme will eventually go thru. Trillions of dollars will appear out of thin air when it does. It'll be funny when that fiasco bubble finally pops.

The death toll from Britain’s biggest freeze for decades reached 22 today as the country prepared for its coldest night so far, bringing the promise of even more treacherous conditions.

Why are you all coming to these conclusions in the same way Al did with that couple of years of hurricanes?

For my locale , 2003 was an exceptionally rainy year in the middle of a long term 14 year drought that almost made me jump on the good ship Bob Barker. Is this the great Conservative turn around that the Industrial Military Complex and the Drillum Crowd has been waiting for?

The bitter winter afflicting much of the Northern Hemisphere is only the start of a global trend towards cooler weather that is likely to last for 20 or 30 years, say some of the world’s most eminent climate scientists.

Their predictions – based on an analysis of natural cycles in water temperatures in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans – challenge some of the global warming orthodoxy’s most deeply cherished beliefs, such as the claim that the North Pole will be free of ice in
summer by 2013.

According to the US National Snow and Ice Data Centre in Colorado, Arctic summer sea ice has increased by 409,000 square miles, or 26 per cent, since 2007 – and even the most committed global warming activists do not dispute this.

The average temperature in December 2009 was 30.2 F. This was -3.2 F cooler than the 1901-2000 (20th century) average, the 14th coolest December in 115 years.

30 Years of Global Cooling Are Coming, Leading Scientist Says

FOXNews.com

From Miami to Maine, Savannah to Seattle, America is caught in an icy grip that one of the U.N.'s top global warming proponents says could mark the beginning of a mini ice age.

According to the U.S. National Snow and Ice Data Center in Colorado, the warming of the Earth since 1900 is due to natural oceanic cycles, and not man-made greenhouse gases. The agency also reports that Arctic summer sea ice has increased by 409,000 square miles, or 26 per cent, since 2007.

Florida growers suffered crop damage Wednesday when a cold front froze oranges and strawberries in twenty-degree weather. Floridians are bracing for the worst. Al Gore wants the temperatures re-counted because they don't agree with his exit polls.

If global warming continues, in 20 years the only chance we'll have to see a polar bear is in a zoo.

So in other words, nothing is going to change

True. But only half true:

The polar bear evolved from the brown bear at the onset of this ice age. As this ice age continues to wane, the browns will reclaim the land they lost to the polar bear.

Why not look at it from the brown bear's perspective? Three cheers for the brown bear!

In 20,000 years, people are gonna boo-hoo about the loss of brown bear habitat due to human-caused global cooling. Just you wait and see!
