Sarge is my true trailname given by a group I led many years ago (nothing to do with military experience) when I was enforcing/encouraging a timeline to make camp on a tight schedule. The guys were beat (they knew it was going to be a challenge from the git-go) and I was running up and down the spread out ranks checking on their health and trying to keep them going. Must have looked like a drill-sargeant at the time.”

I think Ken missed my point.

I didn"t say there shouldn"t be a moderator. Ive said the diametric opposite ever since the site changed hands. The Lack of moderation (and general lack of attention from the owners) are what have allowed the site to *decay*.

What I said in the previous post is that the moderator should not be a user.... But If You Must draft a user because DM won"t pony up a wooden nickel, then it should Not be a fuego-ite.

That has everything to do with giving authority to someone who has an axe to grind and absolutely nothing to do with what"s on- or off-topic.
