Fahnstock State Park NY Oct 2009

“just wanted to post a few pics of my little trip with Susie the wonder pooch.

Had a great time, Fall is the best time to go camping.
I stayed at a campground because it was going to get cold. Went down to 32 degrees at night and I wanted to make sure susie was warm!
She did great. not many animals. just a few chipmonks and a cat.
But had wonderful views and great weather. It rained the first night but we were snuggling :)
had the entire campground to myself, the rangers thought I was nuts!
Meet a through hiker nearing the end of his AT hike.that was cool! other then him, I saw no one and that was the plan!

best part was driving around the camp gathering all the wood other campers left!
so we had some pretty good fires.

“Looks like so much fun. My beagle, Gracie Lou, would have been gone by the first mile. She loves being outdoors but is the typical A.D.D. beagle. "Hey, let's play with that stick, throw me that stick, hey look at the squirrel, wonder if he has a stick, I'll go ask him" Off she goes.”
