This is the best thing to come out of the writer's strike. Josh Whedon, creator of Firefly/Serenity and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, wrote a three part free-streaming musical miniseries for the internet since he couldn't write for TV. I can't believe I missed this before

I got through about half of it yesterday, before it tanked on me.

I made it 4 minutes and 30 seconds, and then just couldn't take the dance scene in the laundramat.

The washington nationals eain delay was more interesting...

Yes its Doogie Howzer. My daughters loved his singing. The guy who plays Captain Hammer also plays Mal Reynolds, captain of Serenty from the TV show Firefly and movie Serenity. We are big fans of firefly/serenity so it was a hoot to see him in that role.

Its definitely not for everyone, but its DVD sales have already paid off the cast and crew, all the bills and returned his initial investment of $200,000 to make it. Weird how people will buy a DVD of something they can watch for free.
