And, is the hike to start on Sept 5 or we just get there by then? I gotta know cuz I'm watching airfares and I don't see a flight itinerary yet that will get me there by 1:00PM on the 5th. So, thinking of traveling on the 4th. Whaddya think?”

“If the cannnister is not required I'm not bringing one. Last time I tried to squeeze too much into mine be repackaging all the food and I ended with a big mess that looked like a bucket of trail mix.”

“I am just going to hang it. If my food gets taken, I can always steal Jerbear's and blame it on a griz. I hate cannisters except they do make good stools.”
