“This is basically just a rip off of Ruby's Mother's Day hike...except I'm moving it down to the Pioneer Camping area...why...because that's my favorite camping area and I can :)

For some reason I'm having trouble joining this trip to RRG. At this point I'm a deffinite. I'm also interested in the float trip. I can either rent a kayak or will try to bring my own boat. Also, interested in any hiking as well. I'll probably come down Friday evening. Look forward to seeing all of you!”

“I got my first dose (scabs to prove it) of single track last weekend. Racing down ravines and into boulder filled ditches full of mud and up the other side covered in roots while your feet are locked into a pair of egg beaters... yes this is like crack for me and very dangerous to my well being. I don't know if I can ever be content riding that iron horse on the street again after those two days of riding. I will have a long ways to go to catch up to you and stokley but fear factor won't play a part in my catching up.

The one thing I dislike about the Red is that all the things I love to do are all in one place. I want to climb, marathon hike, bag arches touron style, camping, orienteer, bushwhack, ride my bike, kayak, trail run and just hang out eating, drinking and generally not act my age.

Anyway, because this is a kid friendly trip I might drop some of my ambition and actually bring my family.”
