These days, I get calls for it, can no longer keep up with demand... hmmm... maybe if I slap "Napa Valley" on it, I can get $30 a jar, eh?”

I was on a kick for a few years where I'd pick wild blackberries (actually from what must have been an old homestead) and boil them down to make a nice tart syrup ---- then accidentally spill a bunch of VSOP cognac into it to complete the transformation into a 40° cordial.

Route 33 crosses the Dry Fork River at Alpena just east of the FR 91 turn-off by a mile or two.”
