“what is the two mile uphill stomp? I was under the impression this would be a nice easy trip to break me in again.....tis been awhile since I've been on a backpackin trip....like 5 months! HOLY MOLE thats a long time.”

“If you are a marathon runner this could be considered a nice easy trip but for us mere mortals it is rather strenuous requiring considerable sweat.

Once we mount the ridge it is a roller coaster up and down with some easy walking sections on the ridge top.
