“i think i figured out my route for this trip:

drive to hayes trailhead, bushwack to patton cave, throw up my tent, then continue exploring (bushwack to the southeast end of the peninsula)

im done with the trails at deam. from now on, when i go, it's bushwack time!

I don't know the area at all and I'm not sure I would want to be doing unmarked tarils by my lonesome and I am not sure I could do the 4 miles by the time I got from New Castle down to where ever this is.”

I am in Indiana in hopes of getting called to a church out in that neck of the woods so I can't duck out of the program until it is over. I'll let you know in a day or two. I have a dinner engagmnet with my daughter that I need to get ready for.”

“I believe the hike out in Sunday will be about 5 miles, but it's a pretty easy hike out. I don't know of a shorter way.

Dub, I don't have the GPS coordinates to the cave, but Chin Music might. I'll e-mail him and see if he's got them, if he does, I'll pass them on to you.”

On a more serious note...I would bring 65 up to IN 46...that's by far the easiest way...

And Fri night's campsite is pretty easy to find...Crash is just being a little protective of Sat. night's site...
