It was relatively mild this year.
I don't believe it got below ZERO.

Can it be true?
You going to be there?

It's on your Presidents' Day week-end.

Damnit, I'd love to come to that trip. If only it weren't so far away.

Thanks :-) I'd love to, very much so, but I am afraid it's just too far away and too expensive to make it for a three days trip.

I have burned so much money on trips and vacations to the US over the last three years. For my next hiking holiday I should plan something over here. Maybe England. I haven't been there in a while and it's actually a great place for hiking holidays.

My youngest son plans to work in Wales next summer with an organic farm program.

It should be a good experience and he wants to work on his Welsh accent and see some of the old country.

My Great Grandmother warned me about crossing the bridge in Poultney, VT, because, "Them Welsh will get you."

I'll report to the "Scotland" thread.
Or is there an "England" thread?

I told my son wants to see a bit of Scotland too.

You know what they say about redheads, eh?

I have not heard that one.

But they say that redheads deliver what blonds only promise.

Don't get me in to sheep jokes, I'll fill you in at Masten. Ask me about the inflatable sheep (anatomically correct) that my girls' rugby team presented me in Victoria, B.C. in 2 000.

When I was still playing rugby in my early fifties my former students and then my co-players would call me 'Yoda' because I was 400 years old and still a warrior. We would signal and talk to each other in yoda-speak.
