So PrezBO goes to meet the pope. As he walks up his deputy assistant tells him he will stand in St. Peters Square and wants to see the PrezBO and the pope together on the balcony.

Eventually the two step out on the balcony. The assistant has been eating peanuts while waiting and is throwing the shells on the square.

In shock he looks up to see the pope talking to prezBO. He moves to the side to get a better look and sees the Pope Bless prezBO with the sign of the cross.

Estatic he meets Hussein as he leaves and begins gushing at how great it must have been to get the blessing.

BO replies,"it actually wasn't that. What happened was the Pope took me out there and said (while pointing above BO's head)" God has spoken to me and you are to go Down to the square (while pointing down) then get that idiot (pointing to the aide) and make him clean up his mess, and then get the hell out of here (while pointing to the exit).""

ROTFLMAO

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0709/24944.html

Coming soon to THE ONE's Teleprompter.

Here is a GREAT Quote

Of the speech, Edwin Meese III, who served as Reagan’s attorney general

, says: “It seemed to cast blame on the American people, that somehow they were wrong. It seemed to ignore the fact that the federal government was not doing much to solve the problems. It was just kind of a defeatist speech.”

By contrast, he notes, “one of the most significant characteristics about Ronald Reagan was, in fact, his optimism.”

“It absolutely played into Reagan’s theme there was nothing wrong with America that a change of leadership couldn’t fix,” says DeFrank. “The malaise speech became one of Ronald Reagan’s most effective talking points.”

In his election-eve speech in 1980, Reagan said, “I find no national malaise, I find nothing wrong with the American people. Oh, they are frustrated, even angry at what has been done to this blessed land. But more than anything, they are sturdy and robust, as they have always been.”

Okay well looks like the Shine is definitely off the rose....this morning. This morning the Pre...sorry THEUNAS is starting to drop in influence (dayum...didn't make it a full 6 months).

His numbers on the Obamacare are below 50%.

and we see this

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090718/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_obama_losing_luster_1

NEW YORK – Could it be that President Barack Obama's Midas touch is starting to dull a bit, even among members of his own party?

Conservative House Democrats are balking at the cost and direction of Obama's top priority, an overhaul of the nation's health care system. A key Senate Democrat, Max Baucus of Montana, complains that Obama's opposition to paying for it with a tax on health benefits "is not helping us."

Another Democrat, Rep. Dan Boren of Oklahoma, tells his local newspaper that Obama is too liberal and is "very unpopular" in his district.

From his first days in office, Obama's popularity helped him pass the landmark $787 billion stimulus package and fueled his ambitious plans to overhaul the nation's health care system and tackle global warming.

Obama continues to be comparatively popular. But now recent national surveys have shown a measurable drop in his job approval rating, even among Democrats. A CBS news survey out this week had his national approval rating at 57 percent, and his standing among Democrats down 10 percentage points since last month, from 92 percent to 82 percent.

His ENVIRO plan looks like it is starting to suck wind...and LOL

ROTFLMAO....good bye economic recovery

http://brainstormtech.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2009/07/16/international-tax-hike-taxes-business/

President Barack Obama has proposed to raise taxes on the international operations of U.S. businesses. There is one thing the proposal can effectively achieve: make the United States an even less friendly place to do business, and thus delay the economic recovery.

Chen worries higher corporate taxes will delay recovery of the U.S. economy
The current environment is dire to begin with. The U.S. has the highest corporate tax rate among developed nations. The latest Index of Economic Freedom by the Heritage Foundation ranks us an alarming 125th among 156 countries. We are one of the very few developed countries that still double-tax overseas income of our own businesses.

Even more discouraging, President Obama’s proposal aims to levy tax on international profits once the money is made. This is in contrast to the current practice where companies pay tax upon repatriating the profits. In either case, it comes on top of what they already pay the foreign country in which they operate

We could have had higher taxes that we could lower , but no, we don't raise taxes to slow the economy and fight inflation when make believe money is pouring out Reaganomic lenders, We have a federal reserve to mess that up and bail out all the worthless pigs that throw reason to the wind.

Trust in President Barack Obama and his Democratic allies to identify the right solutions to problems facing the country has dropped off significantly since March, according to a new Public Strategies Inc./POLITICO poll.

Just as Obama intensifies his efforts to fulfill a campaign promise and reach an agreement with Congress on health care reform, the number of Americans who say they trust the president has fallen from 66 percent to 54 percent. At the same time, the percentage of those who say they do not trust the president has jumped from 31 to 42.

The president’s party has taken a similar hit since the last Public Trust Monitor poll, with only 42 percent of respondents saying that they trust the Democratic Party, compared with 52 percent who do not. The party’s numbers are nearly the inverse of March’s survey, in which 52 percent said they trusted Democrats and 42 percent did not.

Obama’s personal approval rating has fallen below 60 percent in a number of recent major polls, and according to a Washington Post/ABC News survey out Monday, support for the president’s leadership on several key issues has fallen below 50 percent.

Granted the whole story is FANTASTIC...it looks like the public is trusting "Government" less and less....

see, that's why party politics is such bs. The same people who will STILL claim that Bush was a great and honest and wonderful leader sit here and complain about the lack of trust they have in Obama, as if the government only now SUDDENLY became corrupt. OF COURSE the government is corrupt! It's never been any other way! The only difference is that the immoral and dishonest people running the country now aren't the ones you voted for. Let's take a step back and look at the big picture here... your ideal and honest government that acts with the little people in mind... it never existed. The only difference between us and China is that we still believe we're free.

Amazing that we now have a president that can handle international affairs AND try and improve the status at home instead of taking vacations at the ranch. Really, it's just phenominal. Or not. He's just DOING what the PRESIDENT is supposed to do! Shocking!

I read enough to know it's the same as the rest of Beck's drivel: conservative rhetorical posturing that implies that corruption was invented by the left and it's up to the right to restore american politics to the shining model of truth, decency, and common sense that it never was.

But that doesn't bother me. The fools will always sway to the piper of their choice, keeping true political reform in a stalemate of bipartisan masturbation. What gets me is that he attempts to compare himself to Thomas Paine (Have you read much Thomas Paine?) a person who'd likely spit in Beck's face and call him out for the fraud that he is. This would be like Miley Cyrus putting out an album inspired by Stravinski.

Obama is screwing up, sure. It started when he voted to give the phone companies amnesty for assisting in illegal wiretaps. It continues with his signing statements regarding the IMF and the World Bank. But his biggest #&%!$up is not investigating Bush Administration war crimes.

It's probable that Bush can't be tried due to his diminished capacity.

http://www.heritage.org/2009/07/21/morning-bell-obama-admits-hes-not-familiar-with-house-bill/

During the call, a blogger from Maine said he kept running into an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance. He asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?” President Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.” (quote begins at 17:10)

This is a truly disturbing admission by the President, especially considering that later in the call, Obama promises yet again: “If you have health insurance, and you like it, and you have a doctor that you like, then you can keep it. Period.” How can Obama keep making this promise if he is not familiar with the health legislation that is being written in Congress? Details matter.

Then to top it off...as if hypocrisy has no end with this clown.

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D99J1IPO0&show_article=1

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama has irked close allies in Congress by declaring he has the right to ignore legislation on constitutional grounds after having criticized George W. Bush for doing the same.
Four senior House Democrats on Tuesday said they were "surprised" and "chagrined" by Obama's declaration in June that he doesn't have to comply with provisions in a war spending bill that puts conditions on aid provided to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

In a signing statement accompanying the $106 billion bill, Obama said he wouldn't allow the legislation to interfere with his authority as president to conduct foreign policy and negotiate with other governments. Earlier in his 6-month-old administration, Obama issued a signing statement regarding provisions in a $410 billion omnibus spending bill.

OK, quick question. Obama is from a black father and a white mother, correct? 50% black and 50% white, right? So why the fukc is he considered the first black president? I mean, he's as much white as he is black, right?

Fukc it! On behalf of whites everywhere I am claiming Obama as not the first black president but the 43rd white president. And judging by the way he is disregarding the general public's will and spending like a drunken sailor his inner cracker is coming out.

Fukc you and good night.
