It was supposed to be chocolate covered espresso beans but I was out. So you got m&m's instead. But you guys were too drunk to notice anyway !

Ok, chocolate covered espresso beans then.

Chocolate is good in all it's forms. It wasn't that we were too drunk to notice...just too drunk to care what delivery form the chocolate came in.

'mo pleez? :)

Thats a nice AT section yous might have done!
Sorry I missed out on the chocolate, alcohol and gear fondling!

Not sorry i missed those rocks though!

I did end up at Shenandoah, after blabbing away and missing the Carlisle exit and going thru the tunnels on the tnpk.

The Old Rag scramble was fun and the views were spectacular on Sat, but we didn't get any hiking in on Sunday and got stuck at Skyland when they closed the drive due to an ice storm.

Not talking talking, typing talking.

Had we actually gotten to the trail it would have been talking talking. But it wasn't, since we weren't there.

you guys are too clever by half...

32oz, the beers were deeply discounted
seriously... like 1/2 price :)

Spindlette, the GF went home? Friday morning, I went with my hiking buddy Bigfoot.
If you promise to be nice to her I'll bring her around.

32oz I ended up with the National Park annual pass, so we're sure to meet up somewhere this year

Oh and how was that big traffic backup on 81 south???

It sucked.... I detoured 11 south through strausburg... Ironically I had to tke the same detour northbound last year, so i knew it...

Did you see the accident? I swear they must have closed 81 south because when I got back on, there was no one on the road...

I'll be in SNP Dec 5,6,7,13,14 and possible 24,25,26,27.... Beer's on me if you can make it...

Well it took longer then anticipated, but thanks to the wonders of photoshop I was able to create an album of what a hike on the Appalachian Freakin' Trail would have been like..

Yeah, J mitch, I had never been north of Bake Oven Knob... Next time instead of taking the AT off of it, I want to see how far you can walk on that ridge... It looks like it would be as fun as the Knife's Edge...

Nice pictures, I hiked through there with MSilver a few years ago and it all looked familiar. I won't forget all those rocks on the trail.
