I got a donut thing to hold my new camera against my chest, while the neck strap that came with the camera holds the weight. I don't think I am going to like the weight around my neck. Need to rig up a pad, it shouldn't swing any with the donut chest strap holding it against me though. It's been a long time since I had to carry something around my neck.

Three more weeks, still need to pick up the rest of my food.

I had one of those "donut things" for my camera at Glacier in 2007. It KILLED my neck. I'd rather carry a full pack than have than thing pull on my neck.

That is why I went with the Syncpack for trips were I will be carrying my heavy camera equip.

Dub/Pug - take your time reading the directions once you receive your Syncpacks. It's not rocket science but it can be a bit tricky. I struggled a bit trying to get all the adjustments just so.

Ditto. Like Chin, in Glacier 2007 having a heavy SLR strapped to my neck for a solid week just about killed me. I hated it. This has got to be better.

Again, take it slow. There are a LOT of adjustments to sort out.
