I'm the first to admit that the republican party has abandoned it's base. Bush is proof of that. She, and McCain to a degree, give republicans hope of returning to what made them sucessful in the past; smaller government. Yeah, we can dream, right?

She's a good speaker, and I know you say that's all Obama is, but he does also have a mastery of the issues, honed after two-years.

His mastery of the issues are debatable but I admit you may see something I don't. I think Obama needs to get down to brass tacks and start outlining exactly what he wants to do and how he's going to do it. Change change change will only get him so far.

She certainly has good gut appeal for the right, but I think there's a landmine or two in the way for her yet. Lets see how she deals with those.

After the thrashing she has taken this passed week up to and including Trooper Gate, being trashed because her daughter's preggers, suggestions that her son is really her daughter's first bastard child and the general nastiness that comes with politics I'd say there's little left that can cause her to implode.”

We've not even seen her interviewed or even talking to the pres as a VP pick yet.
