“Mike, I was talking with my neighbor last weekend, he is a rancher, he was up there hunting moose about a year ago. They got a monster moose, he was amazed how big the thing was when they got close to it. The bulls on the ranch only go 1200 lbs., the moose was around 1500. Where's the sherpa? That is what I have read and heard, watch out for the moose. I ran track in HS, I guess I will be ok keeping up with the other guys.:)

“When I was in Jellystone back when it burned, my Dobie and I had a tree between mama moose and her baby, charged us twice. I just kept the tree between us, she got within 50' or less. Not any other options without that tree, my dog could out run me, I would have been in trouble as she didn't look like she was in protect mode.”
