“I hoped to go on this years Drunkferst hike, but I'm going have to miss it. I have a stubborn infection that going to take 6 weeks of IV drug therapy to clear up. I'll hope to catch up with everyone after that's over.”

“Thanks, I'm not happy about having to miss this hike. I did think about hauling the pump in and the drugs, but it wouldn't work out. The infusion pump is heavy and one of the drugs has to be refrigerated.”

“That stream is cold by the campsite, as is the pond. I'm sure something could be rigged. ;)

Have N_G carry in the pump. He needs a bit of training before coming out here. }:-)”

“RichB... not to place any pressure any where but I have about 5 icepacks that I use when I need to keep my insulin cold and an insulated pouch I put them in. They are your for the borrowing. All you have to do is ask. I'll make sure you get them if you need them.”

“Thanks Rev, but it there are other issues too. The pump is the the kind they hang on IV poles in the hospital and I need two of them, it'd be hard to maintain a sterile environment to get set up and there's a bunch of other disposable single use items, saline, heparin syringes, ect. I'll have to sit this one out and wait until I get over this bug.”

“Hopefully I'll be finishing up a hike at the PennMAr Line on Saturday...If so, I'll be there late Saturday afternoon for Saturday Night...

I'm dissapointed you won't be there Rich, after hiking with Spindle I was looking forward to meeting all of the PA Gang

Ok, from I-78, do I go north or south on PA 183? Where do I park?”

“Go north. A couple miles up on your right you'll see a State Gamelands sign. It is large. Turn right on the gravel road there. It will bear right about 25 yards up into the huge lot.

To get to the first nights campsite, hike back to the road and right up the hill. At the top of the hill turn left onto the AT south. You'll find people.
