I like February 3.

That was The Day The Music Died in 1959 and surely that will be The Day Peace And Quiet dies for those two!

HAHA!! Ohhhh lordy, you guys are hilarious. Feb 3rd is already ENS's birthday, the baby needs his/her own.

Only 6 pounds?? It already feels like it weighs around 50. My mom's 3 babies were all exactly 8 pounds, that has to be some kind of weirdo record!

So when is your due date Lyra? Not that that really means anything because only 3% of babies are actually born on their due dates.

Well...................that'll be the day!

It's so easy..........

Sorry , Buddy Holly and Richie Vallens sported Pompadours. This baby will certainly be a cuddly mop-top. (Regardless of its gender)

Umm I sure hope the baby doesn't weigh 50 lbs...I think you'd need the "jaws of life" to get it out.

Though I suppose you could start a new record or something...Your mom gave birth to eight pound babies...you can certainly do better than that, Lyra!

Meanwhile, adoption is sounding better and better to me.

LOL!! You people are seriously cracking me the heck up. Bowlder, that's especially "funny."
;-D

Creek Dancer, I don't really like to tell my "due date," or even think about it really, since like you said only 3% of people actually have their babies on that day. I just call February my "due month," because it would be considered fully baked if it came out basically any time around then!

We had a vote at my shower to see what people thought the sex of the baby would be...about 3/4 said "boy." We also did the "ring test," but that was a total bust! It didn't really make any kind of pattern...the critter is very secretive.

OH yeah, I'm sayin'..............GIRL.

What the hell is "the ring test"?
MarkO

You obviously don't go to many baby showers. That's when you take your wedding ring and tie it to a string, and somebody dangles it over your tummy. If it swings back & forth, it's a boy...if it swings in a circle, it's a girl. Doye! Very scientific.

If I had to venture a bet:
I say boy

dark brown hair
either blue or green eyes.

OK, February being her due month, and it coming out anytime would be considered fully baked...therefire I surmise she's due toward the end of the month. Being a first time mother, it's likely she'll go past the due date rather than earlier.....and I say boy just because my girl needs a TT boyfriend the same age.

So,

Boy

But what do I know. I didn't even win my own baby pool!

;-D

That's what they say, smiley, about first-timers being later...but both the girls in my childbirth class had their first babies 2 weeks before their alleged "due date."

I would wager the exact same thing as ENS...he always reads my mind! :-) Except I'd say later at night, like after 11pm.

A Valentine's baby would be cute!

Hmmm, we'll have to think of a fabulous prize for the person who guessed the closest. Perhaps the baby's first poop would do nicely!
