“The snow did not make.My plan is to arrive at Blackwell Horse Camp Friday Evening at 4:00 to 4:30.I have enough DRY FIREWOOD to last the night.I will also have SAUSAGE GRAVEY enough for about 6-8 I think that is all that were Friday Night Camper bring your own plate.Also going to bring small grill to put over fire for steak Friday Night.

“I agree with fenderbender, it looks good here in Kokomo. Only about 2 or 3 inches. As far as I am concerned, I'll meet you in the parking lot at 5 or so. I'm glad we're going to get to go, at least it looks that way now. The weather channel still says a couple of more inches for a total of 5 to 8 by the time it is over. I think the trucks will have it taken care of by this afternoon. Below is the weather for Bloomington.

“The only problem I can see here for the trip maybe that the creeks and ponds are all froze up around here and probally down by the Lake we may need to bring small axe to chop thru the ice for water at the campsite or carry more water.

Instep crampons or yaktraks may be a plus also.

For those still not sure about coming and would want more info on weather or road conditions.

“Good reports for most of the driving area. Eastern Indiana is just sloppy, not too bad, no real snow, or ice. OlDog & I will be there for the gravy train at 5:00 or so. Safe traveling for everyone!”

“There is 8 inches of snow in the flat areas in Mokena just southwest of Chicago, and it is still snowing hard. Higher amounts in drifts. I think I will go out cross country skiing right out my back door, as that maybe the only form of transportation that is moving well today.”
