Something I mentioned to Matt, more of incorrect logic than a bug - but the "# views" are based on # views for that thread in it's entirety, versus what it should be based on, which is the # views for the date range selected.

It would be tougher to program, but if you had a total count for each post (just one column each) that is being viewed by the user, you could just report on the first post displayed in any given date range.

VIEW_COUNT MESSAGE
8          Let's go camping this weekend.

5          What happened with this trip?
2          The park is flooded.
1          Ah shucks, maybe next weekend.

Say the user setting is for 5 days, and the "Let's go" message is from 5 days ago, your # views would be 8 for that thread.


ps - the VIEW_COUNT would be incremented for EVERY post viewed by that user in that date range by 1”

“Hey elise - I guess you can't fix my inability to check threads as "favorites" since you never got back to me. How about trying this one:

I only have access to "page 1" of TT.

I can reset my view range. But if I click on another page number, any page number, I end up on page 1, and the view resets itself to 3 days.

This includes doing searches as well. The problem exists both in Firefox and IE. Any solutions?
