We bought six bags of candy and only one trick-or-treater showed up! Talk about candy overload!

NC, Gavin is begging to go trick or treating again, we could just bring him by your place to get rid of your extra candy... :)

I may be oversugarloaded today, but tomorrow, I be ready for more I am sure!

Zagnut and Payday are what I sometimes use in the summer for snacks - no chocolate to melt - Snickers rule however for cooler times but if it gets seriously cold then just use bit sized candies so they can thaw in the mouth

I had a quiet evening - no trick or treaters this year and none last. It's a pleasant existance at this point in my life because I live in a condo and there are very few children here.
Didn't buy any candy. If any kids were to show they would go off with ramen noodles!
I did that once, years ago when I lived in an townhouse complex with lots of families and the kids liked it! Ramen noodles and micro popcorn packets.

Having Mountainrunners 3 year old, we actually got to go out and get the candy... I woulda been a lil freaked out by a pastie ending up in the pumpkin.

Maybe the candy should be left for the kids and not for the adults to gobble it down. Halloween is for kids isn't it?

I only get what my girls pick out that they don't like. Except for the peanut butter kisses...no one likes those.

I have a problem with sweets lately... if it's within arms reach, I eat it. I have no self control. Besides, I share with the kiddies :)

I've been having some kind of insane sweet tooth since the critter set up residence in my uterus! I could eat ice cream, cake, cookies, candy all day. But I won't...alas.

I hope this kid isn't going to have a sweet tooth after it's born, like it does now...otherwise it'll be sorely disappointed when it only gets tofu pops.

Sorry to all if you following this thread, but I have to clarify for some people that read this... none of the above was taken from a 3 year old. All was eaten while I was at work from leftover candy that other people brought in. Have I taken a piece or two from the bowl at home... yes. But the bowl is nearly intact and full waiting for a 3 year old to come back for the week! :)

I bet I cheesed off at least a few parents. I gave the the kids a choice: Candy, or a glowstick on a lanier. I gave out 45 glowsticks! You could look up and down the road at all these kids, twirling their glowsticks around in circles. It was one heck of a kiddie rave party!
