MarkO is Walking Eagle

“Sass posted this joke on a thread that I can't remember the title of. It was funny enough that it has stayed with me for days. I recently referred to it on another thread and MarkO asked about it, but incorrectly calling it War Eagle. The more I thought about it, I realized that Mr. Owens is Walking Eagle. Anyway, here's a version of the story.

Hillary Clinton was campaigning on an Indian Reservation and during her speech was going on ad nauseum (in her best Native American accent, no doubt), about how much she related to the plight of the noble red man and how much she would heal their wounds if elected President. This went on to the point that some were visibly bored and others merely went to sleep. Hillary continued, oblivious to this reality. At the end of her speech, the Tribal Elders honored her with a plaque and told her that forever more her native name would be Walking Eagle. Afterward Hillary was so proud of this she sent one of her aides to inquire about the meaning of the name. The aide was informed that Walking Eagle is the name for a bird that is so full of #&%!$ it can no longer fly. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you tt's Walking Eagle, MarkO.”

I only post on that thread if I get a really good one via email. Funny, both the jokes I posted are about Hillary and came from my best friend who is already working on her campaign and wearing a HUGE hillary button everywhere.”

“That 'Walking Eagle' reference sounded familiar, but I couldn't place it so I did a search and found it on Snopes. Turns out it's been emailed around for the past few years with different politicians as the lead character, advertised as a true story.

I have friends who served in the White house during that time....Their opinion, Bill is like a Frat Boy who never really grew up. Even the most conservative among them said he is the guy you would want going anywhere, with you. He is a truly Likeable guy. The problem is he is EVERYTHING to EVERYBODY.

Hillary on the other hand is downright frightening.”

“Sassy Frassy, there was a huge wedding at The Henry Ford Museum and way too much partying to do.
Sunday we were at my brother-in-law's house in West Bloomfield recovering from Saturday's wedding which went until about 2:00 AM.
We ate like pigs and played with babies...........five kids under five and under foot!

Nigal, I'm just west of Ashtabula right now having a bit of a family reunion at a house on the lake(wife's family......OY!). We've been here since Monday and I haven't touched the computer until today.........I think.
It really was humid as a mofo yesterday.
Swimmin' in Lake Erie has helped a bit.
Say, is this lake still poison to swim in?
Oh yeah, Great Lakes Brewing makes some nice brews!
