It was blue skies and balmy weather (mid 50*'s! Quite the opposite of last week when it was oh, 17*).
Went strolling with the ladies and baby Maddy. Hiked many flat miles, gossiping about you all.

No photos for you boys ;-) Did wear my new pimpin' $10 REI Spritzer day pack in baby lavender. Soooo fabulous. (Thanks REI garage sale!)

Next time I promise photos ;-)

How did Maddy like the hike? I can't wait to take my little one out on a real hike...

We had Maddy in her jogger stroller-she snoozed most of the time, then giggled the rest ;-)

Work keeps us busy :-(
Maddy has to be over a year now? She is so big!

Maddy looks over a year, but she just turned 1 last weekend. She's a big girl for her age. Strange since neither Di nor my family are large people. We figure she will even out at some point and be small like the rest of us. If she didn't look like dug, I'd say she was the milkman's kid.

I know I haven't been around. I got overly stressed at work, lost my job in Oct, then the holidays happened, then some serious health issues on my part kept me out of commission until recently. Finally feeling better and more myself. Not to mention, when I'm not out hiking, I feel sorta silly coming over here. Don't want to be a poser.

It's gonna all work out Pix. We all get down at times, keep fighting don't give up. We would like to see you around more often, it's a lot more fun with the famous PICK-AX-KILLER!

Hey guys! Bored and work and thought I'd drop in. :)

Yup. Maddy is one year and one week old today. LOVES hiking!

I've been busy... with the baby (she's a toddler now!), got engaged at xmas, and now I'm writing a backpacking cookbook... Life is good. :)

If Pixie is a poser, that makes me a major poser cuz I haven't been backpacking in well over a year. :( I'm going in a couple weeks though... I'm SO FREAKING EXCITED!!! :D
