We're hiking in Shawnee State Forest; aka The Little Smokies of Ohio. We're hiking in about 5-7 miles and making camp. On day 2, we'll be doing some off-trail stuff. Hiking out on Day 3.

“My son was born on December 27th after 2 days of labor. So for all of you complaining of the dual gift, try and remember that your mom's were laboring intensly on Christmas day of all days!!! So call her and wish her a "Happy Labor Day"; send her flowers!

p.s. I DO get him 2 seperate gifts, bake a cake, have a party. Poor guy is working 2 jobs on his birthday this year though, and so am I. Not sure what we are going to do.”

“my daughter was born on Christmas Day. Because you can't have a birthday party the weekend before or after we had hers the 1st weekend in Dec. Her birthday lasted almost the whole month. Between the party then her grandparents coming down on their way to Florida and my mother having a party for her it went on forever. My son complained that his birthday only lasted one day.”
