Thanks to fellow TT'ers

“This will probably get the #&%!$ stomped out of it, but the intentions are genuine.

I would like to thank the people I have hiked with this fall for making the trips so great. The Adena trip was a blast, and this last trip to Red River Gorge was incredible.

To be more specific though:

Randall - Thanks for all the stories, laughs, and cool info while on the trail.

JerBear - Dude, you are the best. I really look forward to hiking with you again. Thank you for your generosity, patience, advice and humor. I like your style.

JimmySan - How you go?! Thanks for the lift, the company, and the Aqua Mira. I look forward to hiking with you again too.

CrashBang - Thanks for putting together such a cool trip, and pushing down the side trails for the absolute most incredible places, and views. Well done.

Stomper - Thanks for the company, and conversation.

Also to BernieDog - for not letting my drunk ass fall in the fire. LOL!

In the end I think JimmySan is right, It is the people on the trips that make them go so well. And everyone I have hiked with has been great. Thank you all, and in the infinite wisdom of JerBear "Get in, get out and don't #&%!$ about".

“This past weekends mothers day in RRG trip could have been absolute disaster for some of us had it not been for the big hearts of a couple of fellow hikers. Their generosity needs to be acnowleged.

First of all to Stokley: Thank you so much for opening your home and giving a lift. I can't say enough for such generosity.

Secondly to Jerbear: Dude, You are the best. Thank you for your wisdom and patience. Also thanks for waiting around and making sure everyone was taken care of. So sorry you ended up cancelling your plans on account of us. And Dakota thanks you for the stove too! She loves it.

Lastly: Stomper/all Who made sure the kids all got to go swimming and didn't miss out.


I left this trip feeling truely moved. You folks are among the best people I have ever had the privelage of knowing. May I have the opportunity to re-pay the favor someday. You are all welcome in my home or my camp any day.

Thanks everyone. My kids haven't stopped talking about the swimming hole. Thanks to all for hauling them around and keeping an eye on them otherwise they may have missed out.

TT seems to have gotten back to what is was meant to be. A fun place. I see more backpacking topics started every day. I see old timers popping in more often. It is fun to come on and see what's going on.
