...everyone needs to reach up between their cheeks, pull the panties out of their crack and go hiking

see what happens...sarge just makes one little appearance and everyone reverts back to the old ways ;)

That it was a very poor choice of a TT thread title for the whole world to see.

I just realized something.
Was this an AT shelter, sure looks like one from the pictures on the net?

Taking over an AT shelter and partying till four in the morning isn't very nice. I hope no true AT backpackers were turned away because of this.

Not only were we turning "true AT" backpackers away, we took their valuables and sent them packing after thrashing their bee-hinds with a hickory stick.

Damn, two lies in one day from treebeard!
Maybe not lies, just ignorance.

The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference of the The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (I've been a member of the ATC since the 70's) will be quite suprised to learn Fingerboard Shelter isn't an AT shelter!

From the AT it's a "few hundred feet to the stone Fingerboard Shelter".

I don't call people morons like you do tree, but if the shoe fits.....

Keep it up tree, make yourself look like an even bigger a$$.
Isn't it about time for you to start calling me foul Southern Slurs and telling me to suck your di*k like you usually do when you know you have been wrong?

Be sure to put on your innocent little victim hat while you are at it.

Let's see, we came across no hikers while we were there. I tell him he's wrong that we didn't turn any hikers away. And now he calls me a liar.

So, I perpetuate racism and I'm a liar? Interesting. It's also interesting the lengths you are going to prolong this nonsense. A man of honor and integrity? What a joke!

Tree can't even admit he was wrong about the shelter.
Well we certainly know what a man of honor and integrity he is.
What a joke, is right.
Sad, is what it is.

Treebeard likes to forget why I put him on ignore after he called me ever Southern Slur in the book on one of his little hissy fits. I just LOVE it when he pulls out his little innocent victim hat, LOL.

I like how observers keeps calling it a "car camping" trip. If your trips are too long they call you an ebanott, if they're too short, they call you a car camper. Help, I'm lost, I think we need a set of TT guidelines to follow.

Hey Twinks. I like that first shot off the ferry. However, the close-up of your eye in the morning is a testament to the traditional "morning after."

All I could think of is Lee Marvin as Kid Shilene (sp) in Catballou. He's hung over, on his horse. Someone says to him, "Your eyes look awful." He replies, "You should see 'em from this side."

Slur in car ad prompts dealership apology

Associated Press

GEORGETOWN — A car dealership issued an apology and fired a sales manager over the distribution of an e-mail advertisement that included a derogatory term for Hispanics.

The Mac Haik Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership ad was headlined "Tired of the Wet Backs????" It then listed promotions for vehicles with air-conditioned seats.

The e-mail advertisement was sent last week to 1,200 customers, including members of the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Haik General Manager Michael Winot met Tuesday with directors from the Hispanic Chamber and the League of United Latin American Citizens.

"I got calls from people who found it very offensive," said Paul M. Saldana, chairman of the board of the Hispanic Chamber.

Winot said a company investigation found that the ad was produced by the dealership's general sales manager, who has been fired as a result.
