Cooter Update

“It's a year since we visited with Cooter and the boys down at the Hep Yo Sef fillin station.

A year ago Cooter and the boys were sitting around talking about the upcoming election. They laughed at that sissy, girly man Kerry and his funny talking, foreigner wife. All agreed that W was their boy.

A search for Cooter and the gang was hampered by the fact that the Elmers Hep yo Sef station was destroyed by hurricane Katrinna and Elmer spends his time looking for his dog or waiting in line for free cheese and ice at the FEMA center in Biloxi.
He's still waiting.

Cooter lost his house too. He's moved in with an African AMerican family who opened their home to those in need. Cooter has had his hair braided in corn rows and has developed a liking for soul food.

Clem's house was somehow spared in the storm. CLem doesn't do much these days. He lost his only son in the re-re-taking of Fallujah. He's bitter and depressed and sits all day on the porch.
