I normally like my job, but not this week. I'll be lucky if I manage to salvage Sunday and not have to come in.

LOL...nother long night (or short night if you count the couple of hours of sleep) but it was fun....had a confession with in 5 countem FIVE minutes of beginning my interview....Heck suspect rolled when I identified myself.

Apparently her "homies" told her if she confesses to me it won't be as bad......

...why I like my job....it pays my bills and there is something called medical reimbursement, which if you think about it, is like an untaxable raise :)

Why I love my new job :)

Just got my new schedual and since I am almost at the end of my training days it's changed then the past 2 months of schedual.
I get 3 3 day weekends in a row :) love love love it!!!! hmmmmmmmmm what should I do with all these 3 day weekends? This is soooo much better then working all weekends, all holdays and 14 days in a row at a time :) sure there will be nights I get called in for surgeries at 2 in the am, but it's still worth it!!!

I've worked those 2:00 a.m. surgeries and they weren't fun. Then again, it was after 12 hour days.

as you all know, my company is moving to NJ.
it will cost me more money that I can afford and the ride will be almost 3 hours one way.
I have been stressing out about it for a while.

well today I had a chance to talk to the CO and he told me not matter what I will be going with them ( I felt that love)

he said if it was only a matter of a car, then not to worry about it he will take care of that.

I may be getting a company car :)

so now my migrains can go away :)
I am very lucky to have this job and would have done what ever it took to keep it, but I love this ending better!!

How will you drive 6 hours every day? will you be paid for travel time??
Nurse Goodbody

if I get a car, it will only be an hour ride one way.
if I do not get a car, I would have to take public transportation which means more money and longer rides.

ohhh I gotcha...well that sounds GREAT!!!

If we were to get Chattanooga, I could keep my job and have about an hour drive, not perfect but doable...but I am not holding my breath for that. There isnt even an opening at this point...

GOOD LUCK!!!!

yep, it was quick. Basically verifying that I am still on paid status through the end of the fiscal year and giving them my updated schedule and making sure that I get my allotment of vacaction, personal and sick time in two months. Exchanged a few pleasantries photocopied all my med records and then headed out.
