Apparently her "homies" told her if she confesses to me it won't be as bad......”
LOL! Gotta love it XL. She's taking legal advice from people she refers to as "homies". Sounds like a great decision to me!”
“...why I like my job....it pays my bills and there is something called medical reimbursement, which if you think about it, is like an untaxable raise :)”
“i take it back.....#&%!$ this job.”
“i get time to come on hear and waste taxpayer dollars on friday afternoons. that's pretty cool.”
“I thought the saying was, you get to work half-days and the boss lets you pick which twelve hours :)”

“Only 13,140 days until I can retire.”

“as you all know, my company is moving to NJ.
it will cost me more money that I can afford and the ride will be almost 3 hours one way.
I have been stressing out about it for a while.
well today I had a chance to talk to the CO and he told me not matter what I will be going with them ( I felt that love)
he said if it was only a matter of a car, then not to worry about it he will take care of that.
I may be getting a company car :)
so now my migrains can go away :)
I am very lucky to have this job and would have done what ever it took to keep it, but I love this ending better!!”
“How will you drive 6 hours every day? will you be paid for travel time??”
“if I get a car, it will only be an hour ride one way.
if I do not get a car, I would have to take public transportation which means more money and longer rides.”
“ohhh I gotcha...well that sounds GREAT!!!
If we were to get Chattanooga, I could keep my job and have about an hour drive, not perfect but doable...but I am not holding my breath for that. There isnt even an opening at this point...
“mmm I must have been a good girl today because yesterday I was annoyed.
I was not given any credit for a report it took me three months to put together.
well today I was given full credit.”
“and I'm taking it back. Now whatta ya gonna do?”
“For the first time since Dec 29h I went to work at my civilian job. It was great, a 15 minute meeting and then off to lunch. Gotta love it!”
“LOL was it a liquid lunch?”
“Actually it was DORK. I saw one of my coworkers and told him to join me. He wasnt sure. I then called him and mentioned how important it was and 45 minutes later he was there, and he bought no less!!”
“15 minute meeting??/Dang you are lucky....”
“yep, it was quick. Basically verifying that I am still on paid status through the end of the fiscal year and giving them my updated schedule and making sure that I get my allotment of vacaction, personal and sick time in two months. Exchanged a few pleasantries photocopied all my med records and then headed out.”
